BIO
I am an independent curator and author based in Paris.
My work examines the role of technology in contemporary culture, with a focus on love and intimacy in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
I have curated exhibitions, published writings and given lectures on a wide range of topics at the intersection of emotion, desire, and digital life.
In 2025, I curated Artificial Intimacies, a group exhibition that drew parallels between AI-based romantic chatbot apps and the manipulative tactics of online romance scammers.
This project builds on several years of research into digital love and desire. From 2018 to 2022, I toured Data Dating, an exhibition about love in the Internet age, in cities including Paris, London, Tel Aviv, Brussels, Geneva, and Brescia. I also co-edited the accompanying essay collection, "Data Dating. Love, Technology, Desire" (Intellect, 2021).
Since 2022, I’ve been researching Internet romance scams in West Africa. This work led to the publication of “The New Romance Scammer’s Instructor”, a collection of original messages from Ghanaian scammers. I continued this project in Ivory Coast, where I edited "Le brouteur galant. Manuel de l’arnaqueur sentimental" (Éditions UV, 2024), a curated anthology of romantic texts by Ivorian “brouteurs.”
In 2022, I received a Fluxus Art Projects Grant for The Museum of Dating, a curatorial research project uncovering the history of dating and matchmaking technologies before the Internet. The exhibition premiered in London in 2023, and featured my film “Joan Ball. The Lady of Computer Dating” (2023, 35’). The French version of the exhibition, Le musée des rencontres, was shown at the Chroniques Biennale 2024–25 (Marseille/Aix).
I am one of the 2022 residents of the European Program BEYOND MATTER - Cultural Heritage on the Verge of Virtual Reality at Tirana Art Lab (Albania). I produced the work “Her Boyfriend Came Back from the War. And They Never Spoke About it Again”, an Augmented Reality project based on the story and photo archive of my grandfather during WWII.
From 2011-21, I was associate director and curator at Galerie Charlot in Paris, a contemporary art gallery focusing on digital art,
I am a co-founder of SALOON Paris, an international and diverse network of women identifying art professionals, in Paris and many other cities.
My work has been featured in international media including: Libération, ELLE, Télérama, France Inter, France 5, Canal+, La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, Il Sole 24 ore, Causette, Fisheye, RTBF, Hyperallergic, Usbek & Rica, The Brussels Times, The Steidz and Damn Mag among others.
